Stuart:

Scarlett Johansson and Erika Christensen were the main reasons behind me hiring this film. And they didn't disappoint. In fact they acted the pants off the main two male characters in The Perfect Score. The main problem with this film is that they are simply so banal and nondescript that it's hard to focus on the plot.

Ther Perfect ScoreThe film had good intentions, and 'Ocean's Eleven meets The Breakfast Club' (as it said on the DVD) was probably an apt description. In fact I think I enjoyed this film more than Ocean's Eleven (there's no way Ocean's Twelve could be any worse).

Trite is the word that best describes The Perfect Score. We've all seen this film before, and it doesn't matter how much screen time Johansson and Christensen have, it's simply not enough.

Matthew Lillard has a small role in this film also, which begs the question 'why god why'? How could three great actors choose a film like this?

The Perfect Score did pass the time, and didn't really piss me off too much. It's only in retrospect that I realise how foolish I was to sit through it. Then again, I'm in a bad mood 'cos I just saw Saw (heh!), so this could explain while I'm being so harsh.
