Sure. It does smack of a lack of imagination…

I think Kinnaman has done better in other roles. I quite liked him in the Robocop remake, for instance.

Immortality bringing out the worst in us is fine as a storytelling conceit, but you know…can’t our worst be a bit more interesting than this?

I have a soft spot for Kinnaman after watching most of The Killing, and I think you were slightly harsh on him here. He isn’t quite as wooden, in my opinion, as you make out.

Higareda is awesome, and Conner steals his scenes.

The production is incredible, but I agree that the story is a little uninspired – I guess immortality just brings out the worst in us right, what with our un-satisfied need to beat and kill prostitutes and all…

Oops, thanks for that! I’ll correct it.

Eve (aka Genevieve and Jen) was the older woman that Richard was looking for.

The hype machine was working overtime on this one, but the film doesn’t quite live up to it’s press.

Elgort and James are excellent together, as stated, but the remainder are cliches from dozens of heist films mashed up together.

The first car chase is clearly the best, and for a film that sold itself on car chases that’s a huge missed opportunity.

Spacey’s character arc makes no sense at all.

A missed opportunity 🙁
