Stuart:Ali Larter was the main reason I hired 3-Way, although it was fun to see Purcell in an American film (ex-'Raw FM').The former is fantastic - though I must admit that I think she is always great. She gives 120 percent in a small role in a rather insubstantial film. I for one would like to see Larter getting more work. What's going on with her? She's impressed me in every appearance of hers I've seen, yet hasn't been a blip on the cinematic radar in recent years. Dominic Purcell does admirably here as well, and his accent is quite decent. In retrospect it seems quite a pity that his next high profile Hollywood outing would be as the miscast Drake in the disappointing Blade: Trinity. Most of the cast of 3-Way is in fact is better than the film itself.A kind of poor man's Best Laid Plans (and that's saying quite a lot), 3-Way is full of promise but never really delivers. The script is fine, but ultimately we've all seen this story before, and told in much cleverer ways. Purcell's Lew makes some very strange choices (and blunders), but unfortunately this film simply has nothing extraordinary to offer. By the way, this 'sexy thriller' isn't really that sexy. They get the soft porn over with very quickly and I recently read a comment in IMDb that seemed to suggest it was a crime to produce a soft porn flick where you see neither of the main female cast members naked (Larter and Gershon).
