Debt, The posterThe Debt (Ha'Hov)

Berner is a sympathetic character in her younger iteration, but harder to appreciate in the older version given the lie she has evidently been prospering from for so many years. The two actresses tasked with bringing her to life both do an excellent job

Secrets, The posterThe Secrets (Ha'Sodot)

Noemi is so rigid as to be unappealing, while Michel is a dull stereotype of European arrogance. Thankfully neither remains constrained by their initial characteristics and both become far more sympathetic as the film continues.
